pregnancy and post natal massage

Due to the incredible amount of changes that occur both physically and emotionally during this time, massage is essential for easing into such transitions. It relieves the pains and fluid retention that are inevitable as the body prepares for birthing. The many benefits associated with increased relaxation and physical comfort are enjoyed by both mother and of course baby

bowen therapy

Bowen therapy is a soft tissue therapy, an entirely unique system of neuromuscular re-patterning that works primarily through the nervous system. It consists of a specific sequence of gentle rolling moves done across superficial muscles, tendons and nerve sheaths. These precise movements send messages deep into the body accessing its cellular memory. The central nervous system processes these signals empowering the body's own resources to heal itself. Bowen therapy works on connective tissue, affecting both structural and energetic levels. Clients report a deep sense of relaxation during the treatment, like a meditative state, which enables the body to focus on healing.
